New SONY EVI Series Cameras:  The Sony EVI-D70 and EVI-D100 have been the most popular ptz cameras on the market for many years.  They have served us well, but are now due for an upgrade.  The new EVI-D80 (with 18x optical zoom) and EVI-D90 (28x) ptz cameras are due out Q1 of 2012.  There will also be two HD models, with DVI and HD-SDI outputs.  For a sneak preview, click HERE.

Stainless Steel Camera Enclosure:  The APG 30D/38D camera enclosures feature a stainless steel body with an aluminum base.  The unique platform mounting enables complete access to camera when cover is removed.  Adjustable camera position accommodates varying lens lengths.  Air curtain/air cooling options.  NEMA 12/IP61.

New SONY Gig E Raw Color Cameras: Sony's new XCG-5005CR and XCG-U100CR use a CCD image with a Bayer color mask filter to output the "raw color" in 8, 10 or 12 bits.  The GigE interface enables the cameras to transfer large amounts of data over long distances.  The XCG-5005CR features 5 MP and 15fps data rate, while the XCG-U100CR transfers nearly 2 MP at 27fps.
